ROOF DIAPHRAGM SHEAR TRANSFER METHODS USED IN COLD-FORMED STEEL TRUSS SYSTEMS

CONTINUING EDUCATION: 1 PDH

OUTLINE

In this session, various methods used by the delegated cold-formed steel truss engineer to transfer specified shear loads from the roof diaphragm to the lateral resisting elements will be discussed. These methods will include commonly used shear trusses as well as perpendicular blocking trusses. Field-installed methods where a prefabricated truss is not recommended will also be covered.
